Can anyone help identify this plc

5 posts in this topic

Hi, Can anyone help. I have been asked to support a machine built by the Oyster Bay Pump Works Inc. the machine is around 8 years old. Below is a picture of the plc, it looks like the manufacturers name has been deliberately removed. Can anyone help identify it please.

Doesn't look like AB, Modicon or Siemens of that era... Any part #s on the cards themselves? Can you call Oyster Bay and get the info?

It looks like the name was removed by Oyster bay themselves. There is another machine, with the same plc but different cards. It has a grey tape stuck over the name. On the plc in the photo it looks like someone has peeled off the tape, hence the scratched area where the name probably was. On the other plc there is an I/O card marked 2203, and what looks like a stepper drive card marked 2205.

As tragically1969 mentioned above, it is a Control Technology Corporation 2200 XM Controller. Here is a link to CTC legacy documentation: http://www.ctc-control.com/customer/techin...xdocsLegacy.asp {EDIT} Or it may be a CTC 2600 XM Controller. Here is a link to legacy 2600 documentation: http://www.ctc-control.com/customer/techin...csmisc.asp#2600 Edited by Thom
