hi... i need help did u have experience with symbol/motorola miniscan barcode scanner ms1204fzy with omron cj1m? cause i have a problem with the communication (rs232 using SCU41-port 2) what protocol i must use for it thank you

I am not familiar with the ms1204fzy, but a quick search on the web shows the protocol to be called SSI (Simple Serial Interface). I would highly recommend communicating to the bar code reader with a terminal emulator on your PC (Hyperterminal, MultiWay, Supermon, etc) first. Get to know how the bar code reader communicates using the terminal emulator, then tackle the PLC part.
