I’m learning the path from Omron’s PLC (simulator) to the iFIX. Exactly how to make blink "circle" (for example) like my PLC output does. I`m studying avtomatization on electrotechnics faculty in Maribor (Slovenia). And I’m preparing me for the exam (9. of February) in Avtomatization of process systems. I have demo versions of next programs: CX- programmer, CX-simulator, CX-OPCserver, intelution iFIX 2.6. I got my iFix (and its tools) from the professor assistant. But he can’t help me now; because time for my class work in laboratory has elapsed; he would help me anyway but now (this week) he is on seminary. The primary problem is that I live and work 250 km from school. My school friends don’t have software at home and it is difficult work by phone. ... there is long distance between us. . I’m learning the path from Omron’s PLC (simulator) to the iFIX. Exactly how to make blink "circle" (for example) like my PLC output does I transfer program from Cx-programer -to make work Cx- simulator (plc), To this point is everithing O.K. -then I connect Cx- OPCsever select project file, project editor -devices -points ..here I´m not shure... Then realy trubels starts... ...iFIX... -what settings must I do in system configuration what in opc power tool -and anyway what must I do to MAKE IT WORK I m studying to get better job that I have now.
