Programming in IEC IL

Hello. I use GX IEC Developer 7.00 and I try to translate a program I've written in MELSEC IL in IEC IL. The program is written for FX1N PLC. In the Reference Manual from GX IEC Developer 7.00 software it says: "You can also integrate MELSEC Networks in IEC IL programs, thus effectively giving you access to 'Pure' MELSEC programming instructions." Because the IEC IL is kind of inefficient regarding the size of the program (the same code: in Melsec IL = 46 steps, in IEC IL = 68 steps), I would like to insert some MELSEC IL to IEC IL program I write. Please let me know if somebody tried (and succeed) to do that before. Thank you.

Dear WKLa, 1. Open the project 2. Open the body editor of the IL POU you want to insert MELSEC IL instructions 3. Click on the network you want to insert a MELSEC IL network before 4. Call Edit|New Network|MELSEC Before => A new MELSEC IL network is inserted.
