Programming E50

Hello How do i start programming an E50 display, im using it with a FX1N PLC and have a CAB19 cable and E-designer software. Can i use this cable for programming the unit or do i need a seperate cable. Do i program the display seperatly then connect to the PLC or can i do while connected. Im just a bit confused about the physical configuration for interfacing the display to the PLC during programming and testing. Thanks Justwhy2003

Hi The CAB19 is the connection between the P.L.C. & the E50.This cable will also be the power source for the E50 as it gets its power from the P.L.C. You wil require CAB5 for RS232 connection between your computer and the E50. You can also program & monitor the P.L.C through the E50 using GX Developer software. Regards Rodney
