When trying to install CPR 9 on an XP PC, I get the following Error message: Any ideas? A search of the Registry finds no such key. Thanks, Bill

Bill, try to check this out! this is the solution ************************************** Could not set RSICOMPANYDIRID identifier Problem: Re-installation of the RSLogix software fails with message: "Could not set RSICOMPANYDIRID identifier - Installation Failure # 14" Cause: Missing information in the Windows Registery. Solution: Enter the Windows Registry and locate the following key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Rockwell Software\Setup\Default\Common Check the following values. They should look as follows, so correct them if necessary: Name Type Data Company REG_EXPAND_SZ C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software SharedSystem REG_EXPAND_SZ C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software\RSCommon If the Windows Registry appears correct, then verify the "path" variable in the Windows 'Environment Variables' includes the following: C:\Program Files\Rockwell Software\RSCommon Edited by Gnex

Most excellent, Gnex! Somehow the registry keys had /docs/ entered into each of the paths called out in your fix suggestion. Removing those references solved the problem. Thank you! Bill
