Grafcet

Hi, We have an existing application that has three S7-300 PLC's. We have the source code which is all in STL. We also have some paperwork showing Grafcet SFC's. Does anyone know how Grafcet is converted to Siemens STL? Is there a software application, or would it be done manually? I know you can use HiGraph or S7 Graph, but I don't believe this has been used in this case as the SFC documentation only mentions Grafcet and the symbology is slightly different. Thanks, Nick

Hi Nick. The lineage as far as I know is this: Grafcet --> S5-GRAPH --> S7-GRAPH. Is there a possibility that the S7-300 program is really an old S5 program that has been ported ? If so, it looks like the best thing to do is to document the existing system as good as possible, and then rewrite in S7-GRAPH.
