GE 90-30 CPU Comms Cable to Laptop

I have a customer in Qatar that wants a 25 m communication cable for their project. I have never used any kind of RS-232 cabel over 15 m, and then only one time and is was somewhat unreliable. Do any of you know if a 25 m cable will work and if so does it ned a signal booster to make it work? Thanks for taking a shot at this one.
