RsLogix Online Bandwidth Usage

Boy, couldn't even figure out how to title this one This is extension of my Connecting to Remote Locations thread http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?showtopic=10918 I am looking at using the GSM modems and the Sprint data plan but I'm trying to figure out how much bandwidth I will use http://www1.sprintpcs.com/explore/serviceP...ions_dataPlans_ As far as logging values my first thought would be to add up the bytes I plan to log per month. But there has to be some overhead involved with getting the data. The second issue is how much bandwidth do you consume when using RsLogix 500 online. If I am viewing a routine and 4 data values are viewable on my screen is RsLogix 500 only polling those values or is it polling all values? As I review this post I see my questions are as clear as mud but I'm just not sure where to start. Any ideas or experiences or is there a way to capture bandwidth usage to a particular application or port perhaps? Thanks TW

I am not sure about SLC/Micrologix, but with ControlLogix you can look at these numbers and add them. I think this will be your total.

Almost works but I didn't give enough information. There is a Ethernet Panelview attached so the counts I see are for both communicating to it and my computer.
