  1. CP1E won't connect or run program

    Hi there! Today a CP1E-E10DR-D suddenly stopped working. RUN led was off and I couldn't connect to it via USB getting this error: "Selected port does not exist. Select proper port number from Change PLC dialog and press OK button", and automatic online function didn't work as well(it's not a cable/driver problem since I successfully connected to a CJ2 CPU using same cable and PC). Since I also tried to connect with the CPU outside the control cabinet with no success, I asume there is something wrong at hardware level.  My question is, have you ever faced something like this? My plan is to try to revive it somehow (maybe trying to locate any defective component in the PCBs or something). So I was just wondering if you have any advice in order to achieve it.  Thanks in advance!
  2. Issue with S 7 300

    Hi i have a s7 300 cpu used in a machine operation but we have an error SF led (red) is constantly on however nachine runs fine in this condition but sometimes the machine just stops dead and nothing at all works at such times the BF led also turns on. Then we turn the power of of the Plc and then tun the power back on and then BF Led goes away but SF led still remains on But as i said in that condition machine runs just fine  Please suggest what to check for this issue  thanks and regards

    We need to upgrade Siemens PCS7 V8.1 to PCS7 V9.1. Can we able to do so without upgrading the windows of the EWS/OWS. If Yes then How we can do it and If no then what is the replacement? Please answer that question with best of your experience. Thanks in advance.

    Please let me know if it is allowed to sell PLC hardware on your forum. I accumulated lots of Omron hardware  that I want to get rid off.   6. I want to create a database that keeps track of all of the different PLC and automation hardware (Remote I/O, Flex I/O, Robots, etc.). It would include data such as firmware version, when the backup battery was last replaced, location, etc. I have started doing this in MS Access but I was curious if anyone knew of an existing software that already does something similar?

  11. FX3G Hardware configuration

    Dear All, I really appreciate in advance your help in this problem. This is my first project with Mitsubishi PLC. I am using GX Works 2 for programming. Hardware is FX2G-24M base unit + FX2n-16EX extension module. I already started a new program and download simple rung on PLC, put PLC in run mode, test it and working properly. the problem is that I do not know what is the address of inputs of extension module. I tried to complete and use X016 but no response in PLC. kindly advise what shall I do. Thanks
