    EDIT: ALso, if you have tabs open from both plc and hmi, and then launch the simulation for one or the other and not plc+hmi, then it also closes the other device tabs, like run plc sim only, closes all hmi tabs opened.

     

    EDIT 2: Also, running the simulation seems to break my computers scrolling and middle mouse clicking, only a reboot fixes this, until next simulation run

    Hi, i have this Murr Elektronik Cube67, but murr only releases GSD-files (gsd, gse, gsf, gsg, gsi, gsp, gss)

    But none of these are usable in sysmac studio, anyone know of a way to convert any of these files to xml-format that sysmac accepts?

    In TIA portal you can more freely copy paste between projects, like whole plcs, hmi's

    Some suggestions

    1) Keep simulator running even if i go "offline", works in TIA portal and Simatic Manager (For example change HW settings etc)
    2) Should be able to copy/paste a whole panel between projects (Also works in TIA/Simatic)
    3) Better exposed VB-code, such as SetItems for a combo/dropdown list
    4) Change panel code to something more modern and function, VBA is not even supported by MS since many, many years ago
    5) Change all default colors from black background and ditch the so called "fancy" UI gradients and colors on everything on default.

    Hi,  i am trying to see a length in a string i get in an array

    So far i get nothing with this: 

    Dim asas As String = zHMI_DesignRecipes.DesignName(1).ToString()
	iCount = asas.Length()
	iCounts = iCount

    iCounts is an hmi variable only and attached to a datadisplay under expression, but it shows nothing on the screen

    Are you sure 'Omega' is the PLC or could Omega be just the HMI display? 

    Hi.

    Its nearly impossibly to get photo permissoin here because of secure area.

    The plc it self is an omega brand, no hmi other than PC:s with the correct communication setup.

    This specific plc was put in 1998 at this factory.

    Hi.

    I am looking for help.
    A client of mine has an old Omega PLC (Yellow/orange looking).

    Either help in sweden, or english/swedish litterature how to operate the computer software, such as loggin values, "go online" etc.

    We have an old Win98 computer with the software required to get online, but nobody here knows the software.

    Hi, i am currently looking for a software that can open .gop-projects so i can look in the code and upgrade some panels at my current customers place.

    This software and GOP2000 are ancient and have not had any reply from ABB for several days about this.

    The GOPs here is starting to fail and we only got 1 spare that are in service almost 24/7.
