hi again guys^^, the past few months we have been studying the concepts of PID control using the conventionally old fashion way. using a separate controller,. ive notice that the omron PLC offers that function too,. but the help of my cx programmer has limited information on how to use the PID control (CX Programmer 2.1) and the plc that we are using cpm2a and/or cqm1h PLCs does anybody know how to use it? or has a copy of a much realiable manual? thank you ^^, god bless

i was wondering if i could simulate my program from the cx programmer without using any plc? is there any simulator programs? right now i'm using festo fluidsim demo,. and it takes alot of time for me to transfer my program then run it,. thank you^^, good day

i am a BS ECE student (Electronics and Communications Engineering) student from Mapua Institute of Technology here in the Philippines,. i love PLC programming,. specially OMRON because as of the moment it is the only PLC i can work with^^, i would like to research about "automated high way toll gates",. has it been done? can a single plc handle a single toll establishment? can OMRON PLC be networked into a Server PC? i still dont have exact specs about OMRON PLCs all i have is ideas,. thank you^^,

thanks for the advices^^, anonymous,. is siemens really difficult? is it still difficult even if you know how to use omron? i really love programming specially ladder programming,. we had a group project last month and fortunately we finished it right on time,. probably projects which we handle now are far too easy for the ones who work like you^^, but i still want to learn new things and programming skills,. i always want to see/do something different everytime i program,. hehe,. i just hope my girlfriend and i can catch up to siemens,. our professor had told us that we'll be dealing with siemens in the future,. for now we'll improve our programming with omron plc's^^, thanks
