  1. Check that you have your network settings right. My WM machine had several ethernet cards running. So I disabled them, then set up one card as bridge. After that studio 5000 got much faster. I think the other ethernetcards slow down the machine for me. Worth a shot!
  2. Hi everybody. Im struggling trying to configuring a kinetix 5700 servo running in dual feedback mode. The drive is a 2198-D032-ERS3. Motor type is VPL-B1304E-P Load Feedback sensor is a Magnetic incremental linear encoder. Reading at a "magentic tape" with Resolution 0.01 mm  (at 4-edge triggering) and Repeat accuracy ± 0.001 mm. I´ve set this one up as Type: Digital AqB units: Meter Cycle Res: 25000 Cycle Interpolation: 4 effective Resolution: 100000 In Scaling ive calculated the Ratio in the transmission section. So if i go with motor feedback only i manage to go to position +-0,15mm at a range of 9000mm. So i think that is set up correctly. But when I try to go with Dual feedback for more accuracy. I can only enable the axis and execute mam instructions when the actual position is inbetween -1000 and +1000mm. If I´ll go further the axis faults and tells me Excessive position error. Ive got value in positionfeedback1 and 2. Positionfeedback2 is the same as actual position but with "decimals" So if actual position is 950.20 the feedback2 tag says 95020. Does anyone here experience the same issue? Any thoughts please feel free to reply! thanks in advance. /A
