Hi, I wanted to upload the code from a wago 750-833 plc. I use the serial cable I bought with the software. I was able to upload the code but I always got a error at the end of my upload regarding the plc configuration. Here the step I did: - select open and then clic on plc button. - select RS232 comm (see picture) -at the end I got the message "Error while loading plc configuration" I'm able to see the code, comment. In plc configuration windows, I have nothing and I can't add anything (see picture). I tried with target 750-833 and OC 750-833 (see picture)….what's the OC means??? Anyway I've got the same error with both target. Can I use my upload for backup purpose and re download it in a new plc without plc config? Thanks for your help

Hi, I install a S7-200 cpu 222. I put it in run thru plc and mode switch is on term. On the next power cycle, the plc go in stop mode! I'm familiar with AB plc, when the key is in REM, the plc will go back in run on the next power cycle. *I have a memory cardrige 64 K installed on plc thanks

You must see the plc in RsLink. Maybe the driver in your project is not correct. You can change it in Controller properties -> controller communication. Anyway you can also use Comms (in menu) -> Who active go online, you'll promt in RsWho, just select your plc. I think is the easy way... good luck

The plc may have a Eeprom. After downloading the program, try to burn the Eeprom: go in Comms -> Eeprom... -> Store to Eeprom. You can also check in status file ->Mem module. If S:5/8, S:5/11 or S:5/12 is set, the plc will load pgm from Eeprom at power up. I send 2 pdf in my post for give you some info on Eeprom on slc. One of them will show you where is the Eeprom on the controller. If you don't have a Eeprom and no low battery light, I think you have a defective plc. good luck Eeprom.pdf Eeprom_location.pdf

You may use windows restore in start menu -> accessoiries -> system tool . You'll be able to clean registry and come back to a previous day. good luck

Hi all, I have to work on a machine who have simotion C and simotion D controller. Can I upload program with scout? I aslo wanted to upload a program on a simotion P controller. If I can't upload with scout, can I use retrive program from compactflash? thanks for your help

Pay a special attention to special feature like high speed counter and interrupt, Omron & AB plc are really different on this point.

I already have router HMI & PLC on ethernet. I select ethernet comm for 2 reasons: first I think my comms will be faster, second I wish I'll be able to communicate with the drive over my network. I have a serial port pcmcia card. I made a test with PIC module and it doesn't work. I assign COM 1 to pcmcia serial port. This card is from http://www.quatech.com/, work well for all plc and HMI exept for Siemens S5 series and AB PIC module. They also built a express card to native serial port card, I didn't test it.
