At PLC2 I need to read the inputs of PLC1 and PLC3.

kaiser_will thanks for your reply. Now all the interfaces (ports) are available. I will use the ethernet to connect these plcs to SCADA, through a local switch. But I can still use it to read the inputs from the other two plcs. Don't I? So, you suggest the  Etherenet/IP using messages?  

Hello, I am a newbie at Allen-Bradley and I need some general guidance. I have three Micrologix 1400 plcs inside a gearbox. I need to read the inputs of plc1 and plc3 to plc2. I would like to ask you which is the fastest way to do it? Thank you very much for your time.
