  1. Hi guys/ gals, Relatively long time ago worked with Siemens. Question: Does anybody have a working example/ suggestions for sending SMS's using the MC35 module. I have a S7300-2D CPU and CP341 comms module. Any suggestions.

  2. Hi, The results are 16-bit, so one register would be fine per result. The manual does mention that the SPD instruction is available in QnA and Q CPU - high performance version. Are you using a Q02H at least?

  3. Well, today is the day! Let's see if we can beat the Australians today!!! It was not so long ago that we got that 438 runs and beat them..... But this is the world cup, and we are not home! Nail biting is already starting........... Lets give them one!!!

  4. By using the spd function over 5 seconds you would be able to display an instantaneous speed throughput. If you do use Colin or Crossbow's methods, it would be delayed, either by 10 seconds or a minute. It all depends what you want. I like Crossbow's idea.

  5. What about using the spd funtion to count the amount of pulses per second. This will give you an "instantaneous" reading. Otherwise, count the amount of pulses over 5 seconds and convert it to pulses/ envelopes per minute.

  6. If you don't mind Bibby, post it here? I would be interested to see how this was done in the example you got.

  7. Hi guys, Wine!!! Maybe my most beverage next to water and coke! I, for one, am not particularly fond of a Shiraz.... I prefer a good old Cabernet Savignon Besides that, I would suggest you guys try a Merlot, or Rubicon for those who do not like the dry reds. In the south western parts of my country we have the winelands, better knows as the western cape. These guys really make some good reds. Towards the northern parts of South Africa we have some really good sweet white wines. Have you guys tried the french champagne from Moet & Chandon??? Not my favorite. Anyway, what do you guys think of the ICC Cricket world cup so far. Looks like the Ausies are doing very well? Maybe end results would be something like 1. Australia 2. New Zealand 3. South Africa Only time will tell....

  8. To be honest, I have never connected the SG before. The RS 422/ 485 network does not require it. I think it is simply used to connected the shield of the cable to earth. Steve, with the green cable, you do not need to connect it to terminals but simply plug it into the port where the PU unit is.

  9. Hi guys, I know that Mits has a training package fpr the FX2N(?) series. The only manual I could find is this one attached. It is very basic, but will get you started. This manual dates back to 4/20/1998. Introduction_to_PLC.pdf

  10. Bibby, It is impossible to copy and paste code from another, and hope that it works! What about the parameters: kp, ti, td, sample time, etc...... I have found this post. http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?showtopic=9188&hl= The search facility does work really nice. Regards, WayneS

  11. Excellent!!! It worked! I installed CX Programmer amd tried out the Auto Online feature. This is a really well designed program! I love it! I wonder if it can program Mits......

  12. Hi guys & gals!! I am a complete noob when it comes to Omron. I have a C200HS cpu, and a CIF01 interface module. The CIF01 has a 9 pin female. I need to know the pinouts between the PC and CIF01 module. Where can I start looking? 9 pin female (PC) to 9 pin male (CIF01) Thanks in advance WayneS

  13. Hi, panic is right. You need to make sure that the PPO types match. (I think par 904?) I usually use PPO type 5. From there on its easy. Do you have the manual? It does give you the layout of all the bytes and all their bits. I do have a manual here. I will post the link now. http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?autocom=downloads&showfile=703. I am missing a manual on the profibus module. I will have a look. Then I can give you a page number.
