  1. The way I save data from an RSLogix 500 trend chart is to right-click on the trend chart and choose the "Create Snapshot..." menu entry. This saves the trend data to a DBF files at the location you choose. I convert the DBF files to a CSV file using a Linux command line utility called dbfdump and then use a Perl script to extract or massage the data fields I am interested in. Hope this helps!
