Hello all, I'm new to this forum and semi new to Micrologix PLCs and Ethernet/IP. I'm using RSLogix Micro Starter and Cognex v4.9 with EasyBuilder. Within the Cognex software I have one Ethernet/IP input named WriteImageFTP_1.File_Name which wants String data of 8 Bytes, and an output named Job.Pass which is a 16bit integer of 2 bytes. So I have the ML1400 and camera set-up. Now how do I read and write this data to the camera? I see that there is the MSG command but I am unsure of the settings within the instruction. I know to use Channel 1 and in MultiHop to put in the IP of the camera. Where I get lost is what do I put for "Communication Command" as well as the "Target Device" information. I see that Cognex has an Add-On for RSLogix 5000 but I don't know if something like this exists for RSLogix Micro. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If I have left anything out please let me know. I am having a lot of fun doing all of this and this last bit would be great to figure out. Thank you, Cory
