  1. Hello, I have a CDN066 witch receive data coming from a RS 232 serial port of an DSP texas instrument. After, send a message to the CDN066, the RX serial led is solid amber. I don't know means this color led indicator because this led color is not mention in the manual guide of CDN066. Please, can someone help me? thanks
  2. Hello, Please , I need help, I want to configure a DeviceNet network. Indeed , my DeviceNet network consists of : 1747 SDN Allen Bradley, SLC503 CPU connected to a frame, a CDN066 module for converting RS232 to DeviceNet and communicating with the electronic map in serial port. I have a 1747 CP3 cable who make the connection between my PC and the SLC503 via the RS232 port for programming the CPU. I have RSNetWorx software to configure the DeviceNet network. When I'm in RSNetworx and I add the 1747 SDN after configuring the driver in RSLinx , I can go online , but I still have this message displayed "Online not browsing" and on the 1747SDN LED, there is only the lED of the "module" button turns red . the LED of the "NET" button does not light up and the same for the LED Module CDN066 they do not light up . What does " Not Browsing ?" In fact , the only connection there is between the SLC503 and my PC is a 1747 CP3 cable . do you think it is not enough to configure a DeviceNet network in RSNetworx ? I still need to buy the 1770 KFD for this to work ? In fact, I thought the 1770 KFD since , but what happens is that I do not want to establish a DeviceNet communication with my PC and SLC503 , but just between the PCB and the SLC503 by programming on PC . this is why I did not buy the 1770 KFD . But rather the CDN066 to convert RS232 to DeviceNet. How can I configure the DeviceNet Network via the SLC503 CPU? Thank you for your help.
  3. Hello, Please I need help , I would like to establish the sending and reception of data between SLC500 Allen Bradley and DSP Texas Instruments. DSP is on serial port and I use a CDN066 to convert RS232(serial port) to DeviceNet (1747SDN DeviceNet port). I want to know if for the programmation of the SLC500 to send messages to the DSP through CDN066, would I need RSLogix500 or RSNetworkx to program? Indeed, what is the use of RSNetworks?
  4. Hello, Please, I need help for those who have already worked on the DeviceNet protocol with Allen Bradley SLC500. I am currently working on communication between the SLC500 Allen Bradley and an electronic card. I would like to set the DeviceNet communication protocol between the SLC500 Allen Bradley and an electronic card equip with a DSP from Texas Instruments. The DSP have a serial port. and I have a module CDN066 that make the conversion from DeviceNet to RS232, so that the data can came from the PLC in DeviceNet pass throw the CDN066 and comout in RS232 to go into the electronic card I want to know if you think it is necessary to program the DSP to receive DeviceNet data or if you think it is not necessary and that the CDN066 by converting DeviceNet to RS232, I am no longer need programming the DSP?
  5. hello, I want to make a DeviceNet communication between Allen Bradley SLC503 and a PCB card, I want to know if in addition to the 1747SDN, is that I will also need the 1747 SN for DeviceNet communication? Thank you.
  6. Hello, I am currently working on the Allen-Bradley SLC 500. My goal is to establish a DeviceNet communication protocol between an electronic card with a Texas Instruments DSP and SLC500 Allen Bradley. My PCB is routed to the serial port and I have a module that does the conversion DeviceNet (PLC side) to serial port (next card) Currently, I am trying to program the DSP in C / C + + to be able to afford to be available to exchange messages (data) with the Allen Bradley PLC. Please, is there anyone can help me in programming the DSP? do you know where is it that I can find libraries of functions that a program DSP communicate on DeviceNet serial port? Thanks
