Hi everyone, I'm an Electrical Engineering Technologist, but since I graduated college I have had a career in Power System Protection...I don't come across PLC's often at work. I worked extensively with PLC's in college so I bought one to play with at home so I could keep my skills up. I got a Micrologix 1000 L32BWA on eBay. I can talk to it just fine and download programs etc., however I'm having a problem getting the inputs to work. It seems that there is no voltage present at the +/- 24VDC output. Do I have to enable this somehow or is there something wrong with the PLC? Also, if I use an external 24VDC power supply I can toggle the inputs just fine. Thanks!
