Sorry for late reply. The scanlist seems downloaded, but when it comes to "committing configuration" it gives me an error. SDN005 When create blank project and upload a file from scanner, it does that and show the scanlist. But I can't change the slot number from 1 to 8. Whenever I change the slot and try to download the program it gives me same error. Also when i upload project from scanner into a new file, it doesnt show me the correct slot, after uploading. Basically, I can't change the slot. I am using 9.001 frimware revision, and have eds file for that. There is no alarm code on scanner.

Hammad, You need to use opc server and define PLC in RSlinx. If you are using RSlogix5000 then you can use rslinx enterprise at the bottom menu of factorytalk view studio. Do not worry about bit/integer. For exmaple you want to show a light to be on connected to bit. Simple use the graphics and communicate it to the tag of PLC. Search in youtube for OPC for rslogix500.

Can somebody help me why I am having error? After downloading scanlist and ADR, scanner give this when it is doing "committing configuration. SDN:0005","Address 00: Communication error: 11 : After communications were established the device failed to respond to a request. Error code: 0xFFFF : 0xFFFF SCIA: 0x50, 0x0091, 0x0000, 0xFFFFFFFF" I am using 1770-KFD. Upload funtion perform without any problem.
