  1. A700 and HSd Spindle setups

Hi Propeller Head, Thank you for your reply. So that means the A740 is not outputing enough current for the HSd spindle, got it. On the label for FR-A740 stated 400Hz, but why is it only 120Hz can be set in the Parameter setting? The HSD is a High Spedd Spindle Motor used in CNC Router. Here is a video of another HSD spindle lower 4.6 KW + Mitsubishi FR-740 7.5KW: https://vimeo.com/101532422 pssw: 12345678 (available for 2 days)

Sorry for the delay. Here is the inverter's nameplate: HSd spindle spec: The motor spins but not very smooth, still need more tuning. Parameters: will upload a video soon.

  5. MRJ2S Drives Input power source 110 or 220VAC?

Read the manual again page 3-47 (3.7.2), MRJ2S-10A main circuit power supply 230vac 3phase or 230vac single phase, where MRJ2S-10A1 main circuit power supply 100~120 vac single phase 50/60hz.
  6. Hi all, I have a couple of MRJ2S drives which I usually apply 220VAC 3Phase in order to run the AC servo which worked as expected, but recently I brought a set of MRJ2S-10A Drive + Motor to my basement at home and I would like to power it with 110VAC 1 phase, is this possible? I read the MR-J2S-XA Instruction Manual page 39/402 shows the power input using 110~120VAC, my question is does this apply to certain types of MRJ2S drives? I had the same wiring as the Picture below, got a red light "Charge" but nothing on display:
  7. MRZJW3-SETUP161, no communication between PC...frustrating

The PC is running XP pro. Here is a short clip of the problem: http://youtu.be/-Z6NEFfftPM
  8. I'm getting a prompt saying no communication between the MRJ2S and PC after clicking "Read all" in Parameter list in MRZJW3-SETUP161, at 1st I thought it was the PCI RSR232 card UT420 (UPTECH) wasn't working, then I added another PCI-E RS232 card to PC and connect the MR-CPCATCBL3M from MRJ2S-40A CN3 to the new PCI-E RS232 com3, still getting the same message, what is the problem? I changed the baud rate of both 2 x RS232 port com 3 & 4 and the SETUP161 -->system--->system settings. Do I need to change Pr setting at MRJ2S before proceeding to PC connection? please help.
