My co-workers are relentless (got to love them). Instead of teaching me, they are making me learn the hard way. I am not looking for free hand outs, but could some one please point me in the right direction. What manual(s) do i find what i need to connect a proface3600 to a Q02hcpu using a rs232 cable? (I miss allen bradley)

I am new to Mitsubishi and Proface, if anyone can answer my question - I would appreciate it. Using a (Q serious) QJ71E71-100 and a proface 3600 do I need to use an Ethernet HUB? I am working on building a trainer to learn more about the plc’s I now have to work with. If I do have to use a HUB, can you briefly tell me why or link a good reference? I can understand if you are connecting multiple components, but if there is just the Proface and QJ71E71-100 Do I need to? Thank you for your time Greg W.
