Hello, I have a problem of testing my automation setup using JOG/PNG in fx configurator FP software. I have made my connection in a simple way as shown in the attached figure. When I plug the power ON, I see 'Ab' massage on the display. I was following the instructions written in "FX3U-20SSC-H Quick start". as follow: 1- the 'com test ' and 'initalized mode' showed recognition with the PLC and positioning controller. 2- writing the positioning and servo parameters to the fx3u-20ssch was normal. 3- when I switch to the test mode and try to type values on the JOG/PNG see no response on the amplifier display nor action on the motors. I am not sure whither I have hardware problem or software problem. Any one has come across this problem before? Any suggestion please Thanks in advance for your help Faisal

Hello, I am trying to control three motors (X, Y and Z) using Fx3u-64MR/ES as base unit and FX3U-20SSC-H as a positioning module. One positioning module will control two axes (e.g. X and Y) but I have one more positioning module to control the Z-axis but don't know how to connect to the same PLC. I've read in the manual that eight FX3U-20SSC-H modules can be connected to one PLC base unit using extention cables!! which extention cable they are talking about? Does any one have tried to connect two positioning modules to one PLC-base unit? If say so, please how? Thanks a lot Faisal

So, you suggest that I should go for FX3U-232-BD. is that waht you mean ? also you've mentioned the cable for the Fx3U-128M. What cable is that Thanks in advance

The reason Why I want to use FX2N-232IF insteade of FX3U-232 BD, because somebody already used that type and he thinks it is easier to deal with it. I don't know really

Dear colleagues, I am a fresh beginner in the field of PLC life and looking for help please. I am in the process of buying the fx3U-128M and fx2n-232 for my project (would like to control some valves and send command to a syringe pump to unload a solution to a container using rs232. I’d also like to order the Gx developer 8.0 for programming the plc using a ladder programming language. I am not sure if I need to order any other stuff for such a project (software, hardware, etc). I will also order screentouch panel from Monitouch for visualisation purposes. Could you please advise me if that’s all I need for my project Many thanks rumayan
