As I understood - activating CH1 checkbox in Parameters -> PLC System(2) gives activation of port and then you can manipulate with M8411 setting the port protocol, master/slave etc. Am I right? Thnx.

Be careful, when you change some settings in this page (FX parameter-PLC system2). Take a look to reg. D8120! When you do changes - it only take effect after reset the PLC! I tried with this (look at pic attached) but unfortunately. At last - I took 232-BD and it works now!))), but without!! any settings in FX parameter-PLC system2 ! So, I think you should clear D8120, uncheck CH1 and try. Good luck). And question - is it really   FX3U-485-BD ?? Or maybe   FX3U-485-ADP??

So, we talk about GID 7.04, Works2 or Works3 ?? For me GID 7.04 is preferable. And you talk about DEADD, DESUB, DEMUL etc - I found these operators only in Works3... OK guys it works even in GID! Depends on plc type. Thnx everybody!

Cannot connect Q06HCPU-QJ71E71-100 & GT16 (Standart I/F Ethernet: Multi). I Did everything as explained in manual but NO connection. No errors. Ping works! Port 5001. Maybe reason is - I can't open UDP Melsoft connection on QJ71E71-100 ?? Tq

Yes, you're right. 5 - auto address mode. But I use 0 (156 kbit/s).
