I know some of you gotta have boats. Since I am a Sparky as most of you are, and I am sure that you get hit up on "help me's" all the time. Now I am going to hit all of you up. A guy at my work has a boat that has a 24VDC system. He has a 12VDC trolling motor. He wants to run his trolling motor off this 24VDC system. As you guessed (know) it has 2 batteries series. I dont think he should go off 1 of the batteries cause it would cause an imbalance. I cant find a product to convert from 24VDC to 12VDC at 70+ Amps. Any link help please. I dont want to build anything.

Do you guys have to reconfigure your driver every time you use your UIC converter. Most of the time I have to change to a different port, start it and then change back to the port I always use.

I have just started getting into this myself. I think we are going to go with Kepware.

Doug you are a smart man. I will give it the test.

Yes that is what I mean. Thanks Bob I was thinking about the same. I wanted something smaller. There more Job pages than the one shown.

Lets say that my jobs are loaded in registers N7:0 - N7:199 each job uses 20 registers. The operator loads a job the clears registers N7:60 - 79. Now I want to move N7:80 - 199 to N7:60 - 179 to fill in the blank spot in the middle. Make sense

I have made an HMI screen like this. It is a job selector, the opperator can select any job say the red one. when the job is done those registers are cleared. How would any of you shift the rest of the job regesters to fill the red one and clear the last one.

If you use a GSC module all the programming is done with logic and you wont have to program the Basic module

bit 15 is the message enable bit. as soon as the message is done it resends again and again

you need to use a AEX command I think then you can use the ACI. I think I am wrong. Can you do something by looking at your string length then use a float and divide to get your zero back?
