how to convert .rss to pdf?
Automation_Tech replied to lamjin's topic in Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation
You need to download a PDF software...this one is good and free click here after you load that program, when you click on your printer/report, then you would choose that as you printer... edit: or you could post your code and someone can save it as a PDF and repost it for you... -

Hi Gerry, I got into a little more detail about the project on PLCS here , what I'm thinking is that I can force a ascii output, just a generic 'out', like I said I have not done much communication other then PLC to PLC, thanks for the response

Hey Panic, I guess I left out a few details , my brain is still fried... I went to Mitsubishi office in Duluth, GA it was a good training center, with a Q-plc work station at every table that was good for the hands on side, as far as what was covered?... its listed on their web site here, I have been to several classes from several manufactures, this was one of the best I have attended, you can tell that there was a lot of thought and time involved in the making of the class You are very knowledgeable so I don't know if you would benefit from it like I did and others in the class, but I just wanted to give a plug for this class, it seems that many (myself included) are willing to speak when something is not right or when they get bad service, so on the other end of the spectrum, when I get good service, I try to share it with others.

New project and I need a little advice I need to display a percentage value on a display the value should be in the mid to high 90’s... 94.5 to 99.9 This is the display that I was considering using DISPLAY Via Modbus TCP/IP, I have a DL06 that I will be using (its already on enet), I don’t know much about communication over the either net (other then per to per, that was easy) they also offer this with a 232 port or 485, but I thought e-net would be better? Anyone ever do anything like this, would you like to share?? Do you think it would work??

Hello, I went to Mitsubishi training last week and just wanted to tell everyone that has a opportunity to go, it’s a must, a small price for all the knowledge that is given to you. The class was only 4 days, but I am still trying to absorb all the information that was taught to us, the teacher was very good and to the point, also keeping the class interesting was a plus. It was on the Q series automation platform (PLC), a very good product.

Most robust, industrial PLC

With out a doubt….Siemens S5 You can kick them, spit on them, curse them, blow snot on them, they just keep doing what they have been doing in the past (whether you like, it or not) The bad part is they are obsolete, so you will need to go to a sub tolerant level plc -
