We have recently had a large amount of Allen Bradkey point I/O installed as part of a turn key project, the point I/O is connected via control net, on each point I/O module we have digital I/O analogue I/O and SSI cards (4 off per module 100 SSI in total across the equipment) the SSI cards are failing regularly almost 1 per week, we think the problem is temperature related as the cards meaure 50 C when powered up in the rack at 24v dc we have consulted AB about the problem and they suggest the clock chips are failing but dont offer a solution, we are currently trialing supplying the cards at a reduced voltage 12v to see if this helps, the temperature has dropped to 38 C but we have had a failure since the modification, Has anyone had any similar problems with SSI point I/O what did you do to solve it Rob
