Check if configuration of CP343 is stored on the CPU. This is made in CP343 options tab in HW Config. If not every time you power cycle PLC, CP can lost it's configuration.

As I remember Step5 requires HIMEM and EMM386 with NOEMS memory. I had following lines in Config.sys: DEVICE = C:\DOS\HIMEM.SYS DOS = HIGH,UMB DEVICE = C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS FILES = 32 BUFFERS = 20 You may also require following lines in autoexec.bat SET S5_HOME=C:\STEP5\S5_HOME SET S5_SYSTEM= C:\STEP5\S5_SYS PATH C:\STEP5\S5_HOME;%PATH% They may differ if you have installed step5 to directory other than c:\Step5. Schlumberger has changed company name. Now they are ACTARIS (www.actaris.com). Interface used in Pyromat is probably S.I. BUS (SI-Bus), a Schlumberger bus/protocol maybe similar to M-Bus (Meter BUS).
