  5. iPhone App is Available for MrPLC FREE

I haven't had a chance to skin it, yet so it probably looks blue in color instead of "teal" to match our website. But glad to hear the server is allowing iPhone application connection. The MrPLC server is configured for PUSH to iPhone. But you as the user have to enable it either in your personal profile or in the iPhone application itself.
  6. iPhone App is Available for MrPLC FREE

Yes, we have reference of those too. I will post ANOTHER thread for that.
  7. Visual Basic for RS Linx

I would assume that you would need to use DF1. I don't think there are any other API's unless you purchase a third party ACTIVE-X control. Here is the DF1 manual
  8. Can you private message me your IP address when you are at home? I'll double check the server hasn't blocked your IP.
  9. Well as you can see, we have updated the forum software and gave it a new skin look. If you see any problems or can't do something, please post the problem here or any praises or questions.

  11. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

Ok so after I posted this...I figured out how to fix it!!! Thanks for the POKE Okie! I ran a script on the database, and all posts should be fixed now. Let me know.
  12. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

What you are seeing is something we may not be able to fix. All of the old quotes converted this way. Any new quote boxes should be OK. I will work on "reviving" the old posts and quote boxes, but due to the technical nature of what is going on, I am not sure I can bring back the old quote boxes.
  13. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

How does the font and color look now to everyone? Is that better?
  14. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

    Thanks Jay, I fixed it.
  15. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

Thanks for finding this one. I think I fixed it. It was only in this forum here. But I enabled it.
  16. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

Correct. All users got reset because of the way the new content is tracking what you viewed, what you read, and what you haven't. So at the bottom, is the MARK ALL AS READ. Then that resets the board that you've read everything. Now ICONs show up correctly as you have found.
  17. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

Where at the main body of the post? Or buttons? Let me know where and we might be able to darken a few areas or bold some fonts.
  18. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

When you attach a JPG, you can choose to leave it as an attachment or put it into the post. The put it into a post option shows up after you upload the jpg. Above, I placed it into the post so that it looks like an image, rather than an attachment. So because it's an image, if you want to download it, you would do the normal thing of right click save as. If it has a paper clip, you can right click and download or click and then it shows up in a flash viewer.
  19. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

PDL - If you click up by your name, you can get to your settings control panel is where you will find manage post attachments. Question...you to have a limit set? Does that need to be increased?
  20. Forum Software Upgrade 7-24-2010

Jesper - You now have a choice what new topics you can view. It use to be before, it would show you unread topics and if you didn't read them, the next time you came back the new post would be gone. Most people's accounts are going to be set like this. There is a NEW OPTION, in your personal settings. I would recommend to change this the other way, so all new content stays put until you get a chance to read the posts.
  21. CompoNET to DeviceNET Gateway?

I am in the need for a DeviceNET Master to CompoNET Slave "Gateway" Unit. Like what AnyBus sells but they don't offer ANY CompoNET field bus that I can find on their website. Does Omron sell any gateways like that? Or another third party similar to Anybus or Red Lion? It doesn't seem either of these offer the CompoNET yet as open field bus per ODVA.org. Are you aware of any gateways as third party that support CompoNET yet? It seems CompoNET is newer, I am not that familar with it and what it does or how long it's been around. So any information would be great. I did find some manuals that PMCR uploaded to the manuals section of MRPLC back in 2009...I feel behind the eight ball on CompoNET with Omron...LOL...
  22. May sound kind of "simple" but for depth measurements.... I would get a tap measure out. Keep setting my sensor until I read 20ma on the "depth". Then measure with a tape measure in inches or millimeters... So now you know 20ma = "x" distance. Then do the same for the minimum depth. 4ma = "x" distance. EXAMPLE: 20ma = 10 inches 4ma = 0 inches Now you have "scaling"... 20ma maybe equal to 32,767 so in your case.... 32,767 analog units = 10 inches = 20ma 0 analog units = 0 inches = 4ma Looks like you are using - and + readings, you can configure how your analog card reads 4ma, that's what you see 32,767 and -32,767. It how you have your analog setup.
  23. Happy Birthday Chris!

    Thanks guys!
  24. John, For PLC5, you generally need a CP3 cable and a DB-9 to DB-25 adapter, you'll program through the 25 pin port. If you have the USB-CP3 cable, all you need is a DB-9 to DB-25. We have a few of those. Please PM me I might be able to hook you up.
  25. Watch out for the E5510 Dell laptop. It's a flush mount serial port. You'll need to grind or change the DB-9 shell connector if you have the kind that overlaps the front to hold your d-shell in.
