Hello all, I am beginner in the use of Panelview's. Is there a manual,like the one Hugh Jack wrote for PLC's? I found it very informative, and useful. Thanks, Ahogbackr

I had the same problem as I am usinga new Dell computer with no serial ports. I had to load the software and leave my cable in the same USB port, and cycle through comports in RSLinx. I would try a com port and hit auto configure, and finally one worked. I have to plug the cable in the same uSB port any time I use it. It ended up being com port 6. IT still did not work as well as straight serial to serial.
