  1. Good Morning,   We are in need of a solution to connect the pro-face HMI GP4301TM to a FX3G-40M mitsubishi plc. Every time we connect the cable to the front port on the PLC (the 9 pin circular port) the HMI mentions that the cable is disconnected or the PLC is off. We currently are trying to connect WITHOUT the FX-232, FX-485, or FX-422. It seems if this is done terminal coupling resistances need to be installed.  Is the above (without any input modules) doable to the listed HMI? If so what is the preferred communication protocol, the correct port (Com 0, 1, or 2) and the correct wiring from the 9 Pin db9 connector port on the front of the FX3G-40M.    Thank you! attatched are the photos of my current settings on both PLC and HMI
