  1. Articles

Your articles are great, especially for someone that is trying to learn about new things out there. I have actually used a couple of the articles for my current applications and have found out that without them I would have stumbled through the rough spots. Keep up the good work. RHINO
  2. GE Analog inputs.

Alright who is the scholar out there. I have 12 load cells with 10 volt excitation and 4 LVDT's operating at 3 VAC and I need all of the analog data to be stored in the plc. I was planning on using a standard dual relay and analog out option on the LVDT signal conditioner/display. And taking a standard signal conditioner for the load cells and bringing in the analog data into the plc via an analog card. Basically all of the signals would come in through the analog inputs then all I have to do is store all of the info. How would you guys out there do this type of application.
  3. SPC, CPK AND A GE 90-30

I would change that and just put I am stupid, but then I would be knocking on myself. What up Chako. Anyway just wondering if anyone has had any experience with storing a but load of data in the PLC and then reading it with SPC software. If so please give me some insight, I have not really had any experience with SPC and PLCs.
  4. Anyway, having a bit of trouble figuring out exactly what type of registering and communication I am going to use. I know the Keyence is TCP/IP, but I am not sure if it is modbus compliant or what. Just wondering if someone out there has done this before and if they can offer up any advice for me. Another problem that I have is being that it is a CV-2100 system we have two cameras on one controller, how am I going to seperate the two seperate measurements, triggers, and pass/fail status. I have pretty much already figured out that I need to use the extended I/O for the triggers and pass/fail status, but other than that I am stuck.
