  4. Comm Issues with C40K, Host Link and SYS3.4

Bob, I am using LK201 Host Link along with the C500-CN221-EV cable. Is this the right cable for the Host Link connection? I have tried a few more setting but still no luck getting onto the plc. The plc runs the stored programmed, but I need to modify it for our needs. Thanks
  5. Good afternoon, I am an Omron newbie. I believe I have everything needed to communicate to an C40k plc except the knowledge. What is the trick in getting SYSWIN 3.4 to communicate with the plc. I have tried changing the comms setting is SYSWIN and the dip switch settings on the HOSTLINK. I get the message PLC not responding. I have tried to get at the docs here on the site but the IT department blocks these downloads. Thank you, Mark Dowd mark.dowd@macvalves.com Controls Engineer MAC Valves
  6. Versa Point and S2K Device Net Issue

Working with a new devicenet setup. Peer to Peer Comms. The system consists of a VersaPoint NIU, power supply, and 2 input modules. Connected to that are 2 S2K servo controllers, both with the Device Net option. The problem that I am having is the the NT light on the NIU module is flashing. According to the manual, this indicates that its online but not connected. The network status lights on the S2K are both solid. What do I need to do to get the NIU connected to the network. I have one S2K connected to card 1 and the another S2K connected to card 2 of the NIU. The 121 ohm resister is at each S2K controller. Mark Dowd MAC Valves
