Hi. i have to connect an Hakko V712S with a PLC RX3i. I ve done the wire as i readed on Hakko Manual (wiring n°3 - 15 pin to 25pin). Ive setted PLC's port with SPN-X protocol following Hakko manual instruction. I would like to connect COM2 with rs485 with CN1 Hakko's port. But i have a Communication Error. Someone knows how to do that or can please give me a little example with plc and hakko project to try only communication? Thank you so much Valerio

is it possible that Modbus 3xxxx corresponds to %M? It seems that my Hakko project works in this way.

i've readed about it and i was surprised. maybe best communication in my case now is Modbus. can i read all memory blocks (r,i,m) or not? thank you. valerio

hi there. im using Citect SCADA to monitor my plant but a customer ask me if it's possible to communicate between this system and Cimplicity. I've never used Cimplicity but someone at Citect told me that it's possible communicate and exchange datas by OPC. Does Cimplicity have the packet OPC included?? Or is an optnional?? hi. my local supplier gives me the Cimplicity CD.. now ive try to use demos to learn something about using of variables, texts and images. now i have to connect my plc rx3i (IC965CPU310) to my pc. i have to use the com1 (rs232?) because the other is used by hakko panels on rs422. is it possible? there is a special cable? have i to use SNP / SNPX protocol??? ive seen the manual but last update in 2001 and i cant find rx3i thank you a lot. valerio

thank you. i have some new questions. 1- can i use Cimplicity with any industrial pc? or need i some particular operativ system? 2- are there different versions of Cimplicity or only one? Can i freely download or have i pay the software? 3- is there an hardware key to connect to my industrial pc? 4- if so, have i some limit on using words or "tags" i repeat that i usually use citect and i dont know how different they are. thank u a lot again. bye

someone tolds me that maybe this file was generated by Omron SSS or LSS software.. now i've control the plc directory and i found this kind of files.. ***.lis ***.bas ***.dat and the PLC was a CH200 some ideas to read this lis files??? bye and thanks

hi. im new on the DB world im doing the software for a plant. i use omron plcs and CitectSCADA the customer asks me to add to my SCADA datas from his system that is just existing. he has 8 PCs each one with his database. for each database i have to read 10 tags. 1) he asks me what kind of database i prefer.whats the best database for this use? 2) how can i do communication between Citect and Database? 3) there is some example or documentation about? thanks for answers.. bye valerio

hi. thanks a lot.. now the communication works very good.. another question about.. if i turn off 1 of 4 plc all the DMs keep the value and dont go to 0.. how can i reset the plc exchange memory if one plc turn off or stop communication? there is some flags?? Hi. i have a question. a customer ask me to do communication between our automation plant and their AS400 ( Orchestra ) there i have a CJ1W without ETN21. i've only to send & receive about 15-20 words... so i think that i can use only serial port... i've never used AS400 and i dont know how is the best portocol and how to exchange words... someone have experience on this???
