Posted 25 Sep 2014 There is no "RUN" function you are looking for. It sounds like your communication settings of PLC port and NT panel port do not match. Access the NT panel system menu (press any two corners at the same time). I made an instruction sheet for a customer once who had the same problem after replacing the NT panel. See attached how to check your NT panel settings. It must match the PLC port settings. On top of that, the PT first register set in the PT control/notify area must be set to a valid screen number (in BCD). E.g. on PLC first cycle, use a MOV instruction that moves #100 in the register, if your startup screen is 100. In this example MOV #100 to D10. Posted 30 Sep 2014 Ok I tried it in the same way as u explained but nothing happens, i moved the #100 to DM10, and also changed the PT configuration as D00010, but still it keeps showing System Initializing screen, can you please tell me about the cable pinouts that should be used between omron PLC and NT31, i am using this cable pinout, DB9 Male DB9 Male 2 ------------------------------ 2 3 ------------------------------ 3 8 ------------------------------ 4 7 ------------------------------ 5 5 ------------------------------ 9 i thought it might be the case that cable which i am using between plc and NT31 not correct, i am newbie on omron system so facing these issues, i will be very thankful to you please help me out. Posted 2 Oct 2014 Your cable is wrong. You might want to read a manual instead of just throwing together a cable and pray it works. http://forums.mrplc.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=
