Counting Openwire faults.

I'm looking for a method to count open wire faults in RSLogix5000 on a digital input card. I'm trying to code the system so that it registers only one fault per input regardless of weather or not the fault is repeating.

Latch the first open.  Ussr the latch to drive your count.
