I have some query related to L32E PLC.

Is L32E CompactLogix Supports both TCP/IP and Ethernet IP ?

Is it TCP Client or TCp server ?

CompactLogix L32E processors have a built-in port for Ethernet/IP.

This processor also supports being on a TCP/IP network, but communicates with devices via Ethernet/IP protocol.

One more thing I want to communicate  Compact-Logix L32E  PLC with any of Bar code scanner supporting Ethernet TCP/IP or Ethernet IP.So for that purpose,What are things required to configure that scanner ?

CompactLogix L32E PLC processor has a built in Ethernet/IP port that supports being on a TCP/IP network, but communicates with devices via Ethernet/IP protocol => devices via Ethernet/IP protocol...you want a barcode scanner that supports Ethernet/IP.

At this point, it is all conjecture.  Do you have a brand of barcode scanner or a model in mind?

Yes I do have.

For datalogic  Matrix 210N(EDS file availabe ).

For cognex  DM-60S-000 (EDS file available ).

And I am not that experienced on AB software and PLC
