Posted 6 Sep 2016 Hi, I am planning to use an encoder on a CP1L to read on the RPM of a spinning wheel. For this, I can use high-speed counter 0, and the PRV2 instruction. Posted 6 Sep 2016 One method I have seen used before is to monitor the current value and determine if it is greater or less than the previous value. This would indicate direction. Then overwrite the saved value with the new one and repeat. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
