Can't Communicate with compact 1200

I am trying to get on line with a compact logix 1200 processor I tryed using my RS232- DF1 like i always do on other devices and auto configured and no luck. Then i found a copy of the old program to see if maybe the processor was configured for another com type and it said it was DH485 i tryed to use the DH485 UIC devices in my RS linx classic i actually used ever combination of com configuration with no luck could someone please lead me in the direction i need to go.http://forums.mrplc.com/public/style_emoticons/default/shrug.gif

Welcome! I assume you mean a micrologix 1200 and if so, here is a link to the manual. On pdf page 68 it talks about DCOMM...See if that helps point you in the right direction. http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/um/1762-um001_-en-p.pdf

FYI, the UIC driver is used with the 1747-UIC ( USB to DH485 converter). See PDF 1747_UIC.pdf Edited by Mickey
