    Hello, You could use our Serial to EtherNet module. Takes your barcode data and puts the data right into your SLC's string register. Simple and easy to use. List price $625.     Hi Gary, Real Time Automation has the 435NBS serial to PLC gateway. Simply put your string in the string data file, set the string length and the 435NBS sees the string length is a non zero and sends the data to the serial device.
