CMP2A PASSWORD

I have known that cmp series can be program with protetion. How it is program? What will be the protetion, program can be still read(upload) and write(edit)?and can be dowload again with new program?

Hello scatter17, If the program in the PLC has been password protected, it cannot be uploaded without the password. There is however, nothing to stop someone downloading a (new / different) program to the PLC, thereby overwriting the existing program. Hope this helps Regards anonymous
