RSView ME and RSEmulate 500

I was wondering if anyone has simulated a slc 5/05 and a panelview plus application using RSView ME with RSEmulate 500. I can simulate just fine using a contrologix plc but can't get the communications setup correctly with a slc. Any help would be appreciated.

You need to use the SLC500 Emulator driver and set up an OPC topic in RSLinx (not Enterprise) to do this. It works OK but not all functions in the Emulator actually work (PID instruction for example). See the Rockwell Knowledge Base articles below for more info. THe second one is for the emulator for PLC5 but the principle is the same except you use the SLC500 (DH485) Emulator driver. It is OK for testing but the SLC500 emulator does not let you do online edits like the 5000 Emulator.
