Dear All, its very urgent!!! How to connecting PLC-5/40 to Siemens S7-300, use the protocol profibus with the cable of fiber optic. What required interface and how its configuration? regards, mappin

PLC-5 controllers are generally interfaced to Profibus DP using modules manufactured by Woodhead Connectivity. These modules have a normal Profibus DP port, so any conversion to fiber optic would be via another device.
