Hi. I am new at this site. at first I want to thanks the forum administers. my problem is to communicate a NS series OMRON HMI panel to a Siemence S7 200 CPU 224 PLC. I use GWY-S7 protocol converter. I can connect to gateway with computer. I download the program. Gateway's indicator leds are ok when I connect the gateway to computer; but when I connect siemens plc, plc 1 indicator leds doesn't light. (no communication)Omron side (NS) NT Link 38400 or 115200 8 even 1, but siemens side can be able to set only 9600 8 even 1. Siemens port settings 9600. but I dont know or set the parity, set.. bit options. I use default settings. It must be so, Ithink. As a result, I can't connect the omron panel with siemens plc. is there anyone who has expeience about something like that. If you can help me, I will be very happy...
