Sending out commands

Hi everyone, Ive been working with the mitsubishi FX1s for about a year now. I was wondering if the PLC is capable of sending out a command string to lets say activate another device. As far as I know the PLC can only be read. So is it possible to send a command completer with header and data via the FX1N-485-BD cards. Your help is very much appriciated. Is this what the RS instruction is for. Sorry Im a bit blur Kodiak

http://www.deltacompsys.com/files/rmcfx.zip I used the above program to send and receive binary data using the RS and CCD command. If was using a FX2N. It takes a little programming to make this work. It is not as easy a the AB MSG block.

Thanx for the help. So far Im fidling aorund with the RS instructions. But still to no avail.
