Listening for tcp/ip message in Cimplicity HMI

1 post in this topic

Hello, I have an ethernet camera that will send an ip notify message in raw tcp /ip to a specified port and ip addresss. using a cimedit screen with a microsoft winsock control i am able to recieve this message and trigger events etc... However, using this method on a screen means the viewers ip address would be monitored - not the servers. therefore i am looking for a way to listen on a specific port on the server's ip address and trigger a cimplicity event when this message is revieved (without running a screen on the server). any ideas???
