if some error occured in plc code. can we just upload that error code portion to plc without rewriting all code again. thank you.

I am not sure what you are asking but I will give it a shot. If you have the code you wrote in the first place (or you can download it from the PLC) that contained the error, you could correct that error and then upload the code agian. You do not have to rewrite it.

Thank you Ray. But if the plc code is already running in plc and some error occured do we have to rewrite whole code or we just have to fix that error portion only.

The entire program is rewritten on a download. There are no partial downloads of the code. But, you can download just the code itself (Save Program) without re-writing the data tables. To download both (logic plus data tables) use 'Save Project.' These PLCs do not have a 'bumpless' online download. Make sure the machine is off or in a state where no outputs are changing as the process freezes the state for a moment. Edited by b_carlton
