Compact Logix connection to Powerflex

I want to connect Allen Bradley 1769-L32C compact logix with controlnet to Powerflex 700 and FlexPak 3000 using controlnet protocol. I want to control the motor speed through compact logix. Could this work? Any idea? Thank you. John
