Speed Control Vs Current Control

In DC Drive application, what difference between speed control and current (torque) control? Relation between speed and torque? Where to get knowledgebase of this? Thank you

Speed control is we the drive will ran in speed mode at the Speed requested , torque mode the drives runs at the Current reference that is requested , it will run it whatever speed is required to do this . This is used what you have 2 motors on a common shaft you what the load to be the same , so you run one in speed mode and the other in torque mode . I hope this helps .
